Fabricated Parts
Our Machine Shop
Our facility is a small model shop available for short run, model making and one of a kind prototyping. We specialize in fabricating one-of-a-kind parts which would be too expensive to be made in a high overhead conventional machine shop. We can fabricate small parts in metal, ceramic and plastic to your specifications. We have made replacement parts from broken and corroded parts and from simple hand-drawn sketches as well as technical mechanical drawings.
Our milling envelope is limited to 26"x12"x14" while our turning capability is limited to a diameter of just over 9 inches and lengths up to 25". We have a full sheet metal forming capability and can deliver many surface finishes including shot peening and bead and powder blasting.
Metal Parts
We have experience fabricating parts from multipurpose, high strength and high corrosion resistant aluminum alloys, carbon steels and alloy steels, multipurpose, highly corrosion resistant, wear resistant and high strength stainless alloys, grade 2 and 5 titanium alloys, as well as copper, brass and bronze.
Ceramic Parts
We have the capability to construct parts in Macor, alumina-silicate (lava rock), alumina-bisque and other machinable ceramic materials. We can fire your finished parts to your required temperature profile.
Plastic Parts
We have years of experience machining Acrylic, ABS, PVC, Delrin, Nylon, PEEK, PFA, Teflon, Garolite, Ultem and many other polymer and filled polymer materials.

Please send us you request for quotation to info@scirectech.com. If you have a broken or corroded part, please send photographs of the part with at least one view including a ruler for size. Please send dimensioned sketches in any standard image format. Mechanical drawings can be sent in any standard image format or any of the following: DWG, DXF, CAD, IGS, 3DM, or SLDDRW.
